ground covers for a sloping site

Posted 1337 days ago

Please help.
We have a quite steep site that needs a fast growing ground cover that will stabalise the site. Soil is well drained sandy. Aspect is sunny most of the day.
Thanks in advance.

If you can give us an idea of your climatic conditions it would help in making a choice. Your State would even help.

Thank you for your response.

I live in Hornsby Sydney. Standard Sydney weather, wet at the moment.

I am looking for a quick growing ground cover that will stabalise the site. Angle about 45 degrees.

Was looking at star jasmine. Any other sugestions would be appreciated.

Thank you

Would recommend arctosis or osteospermum. These both have a great range of colours. Also there are succulents such as pig face or portulaca hot spots. Gazania is also commonly used for slopes too.
