Buffalo Grass

Posted 603 days ago

Hubby is in an absolute panic! His beloved buffalo lawn (said by many to be the best in the estate) has got kikuku grass growing through it.

Can you help? How can he stop it? He has tried pulling out all the runners but is making a mess of the lawn. Is there something he can buy to put on it to stop the kikuku?

Believe me any help is greatly appreciated!

Even if pulling the runners makes a mess of the lawn that is small price to pay. If you singly poison the kikuku it will look terrible while it's dying anyway.

Perseverance with digging out the runners will work eventually and your beloved buffalo will soon cover any damage.

With a small painters brush go around and carefully dab or "paint" the invading kik with neat roundup.Bye bye kikuyu.
