frangipani rust

I have a frangipani and i believe it has rust on the underside of it's leaves,what is a good way to treat this.I also have australian natives planted near by will the frangi rust affect the natives?

strip leaves off into plastic bag and dispose of into garbage bin. (not compost)Typical of frangipani.Shouldnt affect natives

i have also had this problem so a nursery person recommended i spray it with Wettable Sulphur. it hasn't made a difference so i don't know what to do next. it is a young plant too.
