Planting frangapanni cuttings

I have been given 2 cuttings of a frangapani tree. Could anyone tell me how to go about preparing them for the ground? and i live in southern highlands of nsw, how long would the tree take to grow and is a cool climate ok? thanks for any help. TS

Frangapinni doesn't like cold weather. It's a tropical/sub tropical plant
