Full sun, hardy plants- first time gardeners

Posted 2080 days ago

Hi,
My husband and I are trying to plan our first garden and we have very limited experience!!

Plants will need to take full sun and be hardy as we can go some time without rain. The garden will be 2 tiers and in our front yard so nothing too big. I'd prefer flowering plants as I'm not a huge fan of succulents.

Any help would be appreciated!
Kate

If you are growing lawn, then you can choose the lawn according to the soil condition. Generally village green turf is widely used for open spaces and gardens as it needs less water and stays greener for a longer time than other types of turfs.

For growing the flowers or other veggies, you can use organic soil conditioners such as bioactive coco peat. It contains nutrients for soil and it has capacity to hold the water for a longer time. So for full sun and hardy plants, it can be useful to prevent from drying.

I think proper watering and maintenance is also important once we start planting the trees. Watering is also important for lawn. Here a few tips are given about watering and about the techniques to save the water. I hope it will help all.
