Rose question

Posted 553 days ago

I am moving house and want to take a rose with me, I dug it out and put it in a pot, it already has new shoots on it but when I did it I broke a few big tap roots, it is an old rose, do you think it will survive?

yes it will .when you arrive at your new house put it in the garden and keep t moist for a few days and feed it with rose food. roses are very hardy plants and can survive lots of things including the drought conditions.i moved ten roses into pots and then into the garden when i moved three years ago and all are doing well
good luck in your new house
