RE: Lawn Care and Changing Posted 566 days ago Sir Walter definately doesn't need as much sun but it won't grow in total shade either. It's still has to have pretty good drainage and I would do it in spring if you can water it enough at that time. |

RE: Lawn Care and Changing Posted 563 days ago Some years ago I had a problem with shade under a bottle tree and a jacaranda in close proximaty to each other so it was all but total shade. I was given a couple of sprigs of 'sweet smother grass' and it was lush in no time. Such a wonderful area under the trees on the grass. So that may help. I would seriously consider killing the kikyu lovely grass but so invasive. |

RE: Lawn Care and Changing Posted 522 days ago no you don't just want to kill it as it will cause problems later on when laying the new grass. you can usually get a machine that removes or turns and loosens the dirt and grass. then you can add your new mud to the top and then layer the new grass. you also achieve a higher height around path ways which looks good |

RE: Lawn Care and Changing Posted 520 days ago Sir Walter Buffalo is the best option for you; it really doesn’t need as much sun. |
