Help with Jasmine

Posted 163 days ago

We have a jasmine plant that had been in a pot for a year. We bought our own house and transplanted it to the garden 3 months ago. It doesnt seem to be growing much. A few new shoots but not much. Any hints on giving it a boost would be appreciated.

Howdy,
check what type of jasmine it is some need more organic soil, or more sun, water, fertiliser than others. First of all when you planted did you add organic matter to your soil. Are you in an area that has a lot of limestone. Is it getting the sun requirements that it needs. Is it in a really windy spot. Was it potbound. Is it getting enough water or fertiliser. Lack of any of these things will stunt growth. If you could expand on the situation you'll be able to get more accurate help. Alirose

All of the things mentioned by alirose could be correct but you mentioned that the plant has a few new shoots and that means that it is growing. It's not dying so give it a chance to get over transplant shock and settle in and I'm sure it will be ok.
