Is there any tree that will grow well in alkali soil?

Posted 130 days ago

Currently in the particular area of the garden, there is an orange tree that is really struggling. It has been fertised well and watered, however a soil test showed that the soil is highly alkali. Despite using a soil acidifier, 6 months later there is very little improvement and the little tree is one third of the size of a nearby orange tree planted at the same time. Level of sun, water etc is the same. Would like to give these trees a new home, and plant something that will be more tolerant to alkali soil. Can anyone recommend anything?
Thanks.
