Star Gardenias Posted 542 days ago I want to grow some Gardenia Grandiflora Star near my pool. The pool has a 'carport' type of cover which would cover the gardenias directly over the top but it is open down the side. The gardenias would face north, but our area in the Kiewa Valley of Victoria can get to -4 deg C overnights. Some websites say it is frost hardy, and others say it is frost tender. I doubt the frost would get onto the plants, but the area is quite open to the cold. Can anyone tell me if they would survive the cold weather please? |
