Help for a rock retaining wall Posted 548 days ago I have a rock retaining wall (about 8m W x 3m H) notorious for growing weeds and is hard to maintain. It is in the sun but due to it being on the down side of a sloping garden it retains water behind the rocks. It currently has ferns growing as well as some of those spider plants. I am not a green thumb and don't know my plants or what suits where. I am hoping some wise gardeners out there can give me some advice. We are going to be renting this house out in 6 months time and I would like to make it as maintenance free as possible. Does anyone have any ideas of plants we can put in holes that might help keep the weeds, ferns etc at bay? Thanks in advance. |

RE: Help for a rock retaining wall Posted 547 days ago You will need to give some idea of your general location (for climate reasons)before anyone can suggest what plants mightgrow in your area. |
