Photinia HELP Posted 540 days ago I'm hoping someone can help us! We have had a problem with our Photinia Hedge growing since the 1st winter they had been in and heavy rains hit. All the plants have a black spot on the leaf, and usually loose their leaves quite soon after they come. They don't grow but don't appear to be dead either as they still get leaves. We have had the hedge for 3 years now and it has barely grown and just looks like a bunch of branches with sparse leaves attached. |

RE: Photinia HELP Posted 539 days ago Are you growing the right plant in the right climate? |

RE: Photinia HELP Posted 537 days ago Photinia is very common in the Southern Highlands, and is fine to plant here. I have found out they have a fungi and it's not curable, so we'll have to rip out and hedge with another plant. Just need to find out now how long to leave the soil for before we replant in the same spot??? |
