Apples in Geraldton?

Posted 620 days ago

I bought a couple of ballerina apples last autumn and they are doing ok. A the moment they get most of their sun in winter as I thought the summer sun would burn them. They have flowered a couple of times but I haven't noticed the bees taking much interest (too busy with my lemon?). They haven't even looked like setting any fruit.
Question - is it just too hot here for them to produce fruit or should I move them to get more sun in summer?
