white agave

Posted 742 days ago

My agave is in a pot and is in full sun most of the time. I have a dripper system on it that is on 2 times per week and its going white. Is it too much water or too much sun maybe??

Sounds like too much water to me. Being a succulent I would say once a week if it is really hot otherwise once a forthnight or not at all.

Shouldn't be too much sun, agaves are native to the deserts of mexico which have minimal summer rainfall.

Might be too humid if you are from nsw.

Way too much water. Agaves are very drought resistant and require very little water. i have loads of agaves in pots and the only water they get is the occasional drop of rain.
