Daphne

Posted 57 days ago

I have a well established Daphne that is in the ground. It is healthy and is in full bloom. The problem is the flowers have no fragrance. Can anyone help? Melbourne Victoria

I have one too and have noticed the decrease in perfume. I can only surmise this is due to the drier conditions as this is the only change. Since water restrictions it must survive on the natural rainfall.

Have you seen the fact sheet on Daphne? Quite helpful I think. I've always done better with it in a pot.
