brunfelsia latifolia

Posted 703 days ago

Hi there,
Just got a few pots of Yesterday, today & tomorrow from my local garden centre. Horrified to see on fact sheet that berries are poisonous to dogs...what about cats??? I'd hate to wake up to 6 dead cats!!! I'd rather toss the plants into the garbage.

Worried,
HL

Hi choodah, what a pity they put that paragraph into the fact sheet.

We have a b. bonodora, beautiful and sweet smelling, I can't say I've ever seen any berries on it. Just lots of flowers.

To cheer you up a bit, I would think that well fed and looked after pets don't go around chewing berries in the garden, many plants are poisonous in one way or another, maybe your nursery will swap them for bonodora's, which according to the fact sheet I have (off this web site) are the best ones.
