Pine Tree

Posted 948 days ago

Hi, we have quite a few pine trees at the back of our house. One of them seems to be dying. A bit of the bottom is still green and nice but most of the top half is brown. We are not very good gardners (obviously!). Does anyone know how we can help our Pine Tree? Thanks.

you might want to have your tree inspected to see the reason. i really don't know what is happening. it might be the soil or water.which us usuall the main thing. how far apart is the trees?

It sounds as though your tree might be suffering from cypress canker. I would have it checked by an arborist or similar. The trouble is when you notice these trees are sick then it has probably been getting sick for a long time. If it is verified that it has the canker then it will die. There is no cure.

Sorry the news isn't better.

Thanks guys. We will have the tree look at. They are only half a metre apart and we have about 8 of them. Have my fingers crossed. Thanks again, appreciate your help.
