Chicken compost

Posted 294 days ago

We live 500m from the coast in Perth and have chooks. I have been composting the chicken manure but am now unsure what I can do with it. I would be grateful of advice as to if/what I can use it on in our location.

Many thanks

Hi bthu,
You can use it on almost anything as long as it is well composted. Being high in nitrogen all leafy plants will really enjoy it. I wouldn't use it on orchids.
