Since its inception in 1977, SIDS and Kids (then known as SIDS Australia) has aimed to reduce the incidence of SIDS, or Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. With an 80% reduction in the incidence of SIDS, SIDS and Kids is now turning its attention towards other areas of infant mortality, such as stillbirth. Funds raised through Red Nose Day will go toward funding a new perinatal family services and education program.
