People & Places
In January this year, Sara Storer blitzed the Tamworth Country Music Awards by taking out seven Golden Guitars - more than anyone else in its 32 year history. Sara is performing all over the country to sell-out audiences. She has country in her veins, having lived in rural NSW and Victoria, and even in some remote communities in the Northern Territory.
When Don visited Sara, she was sharing a cup of coffee with fellow Country singer and close friend, Beccy Cole. Beccy has firmly established herself over the past decade as a proven performer, something that has earned her a place in the Golden Guitar Wax Museum in Tamworth. Her recent album, 'Little Victories' took the number one position on Country charts.
Sara enjoys living in the Terrigal area, but due to her heavy recording and touring schedules she does not have much time for gardening.
Sara Storer's CD, 'Beautiful Circle', was a multi Golden Guitar winner in 2004. It has recently gone 'Gold', selling 35,000 copies.
Beccy Cole's DVD, 'Just a Girl Singer' will be available in stores in mid-August
