Don and the Burke’s Backyard team travelled north to the Gold Coast hinterland, where they met country singer, Lee Kernaghan and his family.
Lee has released 18 singles and all made the top 10 on the country music charts. He is best known for his song ‘Boys From The Bush’, released in 1992. Lee has won 19 Golden Guitars at the Country Music Association of Australia Awards (CMAA). At this year’s awards, his latest album, ‘Electric Rodeo’, won Album of the Year and Top Selling Album of the Year. This album features a special guest vocal by Olivia Newton-John on the track ‘A Handful of Dust’.
