Burke's Backyard magazine, May 2009 Skincare Giveaway Terms and Conditions.

Information on how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry.

1. Entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years and over. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

2. To enter the Burke’s Backyard Skincare Giveaway tell us in 25 words or less why you’d like to win each prize.

3. To enter by post (snail mail): post your entry to Burke’s Backyard Skincare Giveaway, Locked Bag 1000, Artarmon, NSW 1570, along with your name, return address and phone number, plus the Keyword that goes with the prize you want to win.

4. To enter by email, send your entry to winners@burkesbackyard.com.au with ‘Skincare Giveaway’ on the subject line of the email. Be sure to include your name, mailing address and phone number – plus the Keyword that goes with the prize you want to win.

5.  Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed ineligible and will be discarded.  Please send only one entry per prize per household.

6. This is a game of skill. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any change in the value of a prize occurring between the date of printing and the date the prize is claimed. Prize value mentioned is the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and is correct at the time of printing.

7. The promotion commences April 27, 2009 at 00:01 AEDST and concludes last mail received on June 5, 2009. The judging will take place on June 10, 2009 at 11am at the judges’ premises. The winners will be notified by mail using contact details provided in their entries.

8. The prizes on offer are as follows: 12 x Pure Earth gift packs valued at $29.95; 10 Vaseline Intensive Rescue gift packs valued at $29 each; 8 x TN Dickinson’s Witch Hazel packs valued at $35 each; 12 Burt’s Bees gift Hands & Feet Kits valued at $24.95 each, 6 x Natural Earth pamper packs valued at $64.95 each; 5 x Sprout Skin Care packs valued at $43.85 each; and 3 x Natural Instinct gift packs valued at $100 each. Total prize pool is $2007.85.

9. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.

10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries or for any prizes damaged in transit.

11. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter including its officers, employees, and agents, excludes all liability (including negligence), for any loss or damage or personal injury, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, without limitation: (a) any technical difficulties; (b) entries or prize claims that are late, lost, damaged or misdirected prior to their receipt by the Promoter, or after receipt due to reasons beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (c) any variation in prize value to that stated in these conditions of entry; and (d) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant

12. Winners will be notified by mail and their names published in the August 2009 issue of Burke’s Backyard, on sale July 27, 2009. All entries become the property of the Promoter. A second-chance judging will be held on September 15 to distribute unredeemed prizes. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this competition is governed by the Privacy Notice (see Contents page for location in this issue).
