Tree Lanterns
Rita Hill showed how to light up those summer nights and add a festive touch to your garden.
You’ll need
- jam jars
- wire
- glass spray paint
- tea lights
Making your lanterns
- Cut the wire into 50cm lengths. Twist and loop the wire to create detachable jar handles that can be hung over branches and bushes in the garden.
- Hang the jars on the clothesline and spray with different coloured glass paints. Leave to dry.
- Put a tea light in each jar, and hang in the garden.
(Warning: never leave a burning candle unattended.)Â Â Â
