Don used the latest swimming pool technology to create a wonderful piece of fantasy at the back of a house. The idea was to have water cascading down the natural erosion channels in a rock face, then splashing into a large pond at the base of the cliff.
To avoid having ugly pipes running over the face of the rock, power and water pipes were hidden in a large hole drilled down through the rock and also in a natural cave. The position of the pond and placement of some of the rocks was marked out, as well as trees and tree ferns that were going to be preserved.
