Magnetic pick up tools ($6, available at most hardware stores)
Very handy for picking up nails or sharp metal objects, particularly on the driveway or grassed areas where tradesmen have been working. This gadget could save numerous tyre punctures. (While this gadget did a relatively good job, an older one Don had with a much heavier duty magnet was better. If anyone knows where this model can be purchased please let us know.)
