Recently, Don asked viewers to send in photographs of any large or unusual vegetables and fruit they’ve been growing. We’ve had quite a few letters, including one from Len Grimwood, who enclosed a photo of a giant 670g tomato. We also heard about Christopher Cooper, who grew a 60cm zucchini in his grandmother’s rose bed, and Eunice Higgins, who sent in a picture of a very odd-shaped sweet potato she calls ‘Sweetie’.
