
A Current Affair: A splash of red Many people will suggest using Epsom salts on gardenias but it could be cold damage at this time of year that has caused the problem & the leaves will become green again in Spring. But they also love nitrogen so use a fertiliser such as chook poo and water it in.
Lavenders don’t do well if they don’t have well aerated soil and lime. Don suggested that the lavenders be replanted in a raised bed in a full sun area using 50% of the existing soil & 50% sand then adding lots of dolomite.
