I’m trying to decide on what would be the best companions for little gems. I currently have pink cordylines but they aren’t coping well as the soil retains moisture.

Answer: Hi Raj, Not much info there. Self-diagnosis prevents me from being able to help you. I have no idea what happened to the cordylines since you decided that moist soil is the problem, rather than having the courtesy to tell me the symptoms. Nonetheless, murrayas under the Magnolias could look good.  Don
