Presently we have a Rubinia tree which is too big for the area and too problematic with the suckers. Want to replace with a small ornamental tree, without berries and require no pruning for easy care. Thanks
Answer: Hi Joanne, You didn’t give me any indication how tall a “small tree” is to you. I guess that you mean a shrub to about 8m tall. If so, try a bottlebrush (Callistemon viminalis) variety would work: the cultivar ‘Slim’ is a good one, but most are good. Don
