Hi There,
I have tried everything with my dog Amigo. He’s 2 years old and has always barked while I’m driving. Please help!! I drive a lot and love taking him with me but the sound is terrible, and distracting.
Thank you, Jo.
Answer:Not much onfo. If the dog is up on a seat, insist that it sits and stays on the floor. The idea is to calm the dog down and restore control. If necessary, put a lead on the dog and use it to keep him on the floor until he accepts that that is his position. Also, take him for a walk and if he barks, tug on his lead and say NO! ..or whatever command that you use. Then use the command in the car. Good luck, Don
