Hi team I seem to be becoming quite the passionate gardener but having only just settled in what’s to be our family home each major tree type is a very big decision. It might be a long shot but I’ve recently returned from Bali and really want one of there common hedging trees it grows from what I seen about 3 to 4 stories high buy only 1.5m wide hence ideal for not hanging over neighbours fence.
If you can help I have a few more photos.
Thank you for your time

Answer:  Hi Ben,  This is a tropical tree from India and Sri lanka called the Mast Tree. Its botanic name is Polyalthia longifolia ‘Pendula’. It is claimed that it would only grow in tropical areas…Maybe Cairns, but not  Cabarita Beach NSW.  Donimage-012
