Question From:

Nature of problem:
Hi BBY Team,I have installed an above ground pool next to a raised garden and am looking for advice on a feature plant, bush or tree to put in. The garden sits about a foot below the top of the pool.I am looking for something that will be around 2mt tall, it has 2mt of room all sides to spread but the roots can’t be too busy because of the pool. I am looking for something that flowers, spectaculary in spring/summer but looks good in winter also. Thanks for any suggestions.

My sister in law recommended Crepe Myrtle but it will grow too big for the area. The idea of the flowers looks great but wrong season?

Answer:  Hi Peter, there are dwarf Crepe Myrtles growing to around 2m. No season is wrong.   Don
