Hello,
I am reaching to try & obtain some help for a friend who is genuinely doing it tough.

Peter is one of the most generous and giving person I have had the privilege of knowing.
He regularly helps other individuals also doing it tough, despite battling and enduring what many sadly wouldn’t survive. He consistently puts others before himself.

Peter served in the NSW police for 20 years. He left his greatest joy, saving and protecting the lives of others, – due to being discharged with PTSD.
he is still battling a long, expensive legal battle.
His home doesn’t feel like home &
I would love to change this for him.

A few months ago – peters house & backyard were flooded, and the entire bottom of his house was dug out and partially repaired. The back yard has sustained damage.

Surviving on little or no income – while paying for a myriad of medical and legal bills – a broken neck and spine and loss of his dominant right wrist (an injury endured while arresting a dangerous criminal) I would just love Peter to get some real help. I can’t think of anyone more deserving.
It’s a square empty space – and It just needs some attention.
If there is anything I can do to nominate this deserving person for a back yard make over, I would do anything in my power to help make this happen.

Answer:  Hi Louise,  Peter’s is a very moving story. I only wish that we could help. Since Channel Nine axed both Burke’s Backyard and Backyard Blitz, however, we have no ability to help anyone. Perhaps you could contact The Living Room on Channel Ten to see if they could help.  Good luck.  Don.
