Modern weed killers like Roundup & Zero are vastly safer than the awful Agent Orange herbicide they replaced.
Nonetheless, you need to know how best to use them.
Rule #1: Always add a marker dye to the liquid so that you can see exactly what you have sprayed.
Rule #2: Do not walk on freshly sprayed areas as this will spread the spray onto the lawn etc.
Rule #3: Only spray about 1/3rd of the leaves on any weed – that’s all that’s needed to get rid of the weed.
Rule #4: always use as little spray as possible only spray it onto weeds.
Excessive use of any weed killer is bad for the environment, so moderation in all things.
Hooroo!
