Dwarf Hydrangeas
Christmas means Christmas bush, bougainvilleas and hydrangeas to me.
There are many new varieties of each. Dwarf forms of all of these plants are best.
There are many dwarf bougainvilleas such as the Bambino range, little Guy, Temple Fire and Solar Flare.
There are several dwarf NSW Christmas bushes around – so hunt for them.
And there are some stunning dwarf hydrangeas around such as Piamina or just those listed as compact or dwarf.
Do remember that hydrangeas demand HEAPS of water over summer or they will burn off. They like a part-shade position out of the scorching midday sun too.
